Ms. Shagun is a Vice President in the Strategic Finance team within Houlihan Lokey’s Financial and Valuation Advisory business. She is based in the firm’s Mumbai office.
Ms. Shagun has several years of experience providing business modeling services to sector-agnostic clients for project finance, M&A, decision support, and performance improvement. Her expertise lies in financial planning and analysis, with a focus on developing dynamic models and conducting model reviews, which support clients’ decision-making.
Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Ms. Shagun was a Senior Associate at Ernst & Young, where she was an integral part of the Strategy and Transactions group, focusing on delivering exceptional business modeling services. During her tenure, she worked on developing models and performed model reviews catering to asset management funds, renewable sector projects, and other infrastructure project finance clients. Before that, Ms. Shagun worked with the International Tax & Transfer Pricing team, where she helped prepare transfer pricing documentation, including functional and economic analyses of over 50 transactions for various clients.
Ms. Shagun holds a B.Com. in Accounting from Mumbai University and is also a Chartered Accountant as a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
