Mr. Ren is a Vice President in Houlihan Lokey’s Financial Restructuring Group. He is primarily focused on financial restructuring transactions in Asia. Mr. Ren is based in the firm’s Beijing office.
Mr. Ren has worked on a number of restructuring and distressed engagements advising both debtors and creditors. His recent transactions include Sunac China and Fantasia.
Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Ren worked at China Fortune Land Development, where he spent c. 10 years working on financial restructurings, asset management, investment management, real estate acquisitions, and corporate strategy across Greater China, Southeast Asia, and the United States.
Mr. Ren holds a B.A. in Economics and a B.S. in Mathematics from Peking University. He also holds a Sloan Fellows MBA with a concentration in Finance from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Sloan School of Management.
