Mr. Newman is a Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Industrials Group. He focuses primarily on providing strategic M&A and capital markets advisory across the building products, building technology, and construction materials sectors. Mr. Newman is based in the firm’s New York office.
During his more than 15 years in investment banking, Mr. Newman has advised both public and privately held companies on a broad range of transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, company sales, corporate divestitures, spinoffs, fairness opinions, and multiple debt and equity offerings, among other mandates. He has executed transactions for established and emerging companies that touch the full construction and building technology lifecycle, including manufacturers, distributors, and contractors/installers within residential, commercial, and infrastructure.
Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Newman held several positions of increasing responsibility within J.P. Morgan’s Investment Banking division.
Mr. Newman graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in Finance and Accounting from the Stern School of Business at New York University.
