Mr. Takahama is an Advisory Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Corporate Finance business. He has three decades of business development experience in the high-tech, media, and telecom sectors. Mr. Takahama also has extensive consultancy experience in assurance, growth strategy, IT strategy, deal advisory, international tax strategy planning, and PMOs. He is based in the firm’s Tokyo office.
Previously, Mr. Takahama was an Executive Managing Officer at GCA Corporation, which was acquired by Houlihan Lokey in 2021. He was also an Executive Managing Officer for its subsidiary, GCA Partners, where he provided a range of advisory services to Japanese mid-range clients. He joined GCA in 2017 after retiring as a Partner at PwC Japan, where he helped C-suite executives build relationships with various Japanese blue-chip clients. Earlier, Mr. Takahama established an IT consulting company in 1984.
