Mr. Buffington is a Vice President in Houlihan Lokey’s IT Services practice within the firm’s Business Services Group. He is based in the firm’s Charlotte office.
Previously, Mr. Buffington was a Vice President at 7 Mile Advisors, which was acquired by Houlihan Lokey in 2023. Before that, he spent several years as a buyside equity research analyst for a wealth management firm in Huntersville, North Carolina. Prior to that, Mr. Buffington worked for BB&T Capital Markets in equity sales, trading, and research in Richmond, Virginia.
Mr. Buffington holds a B.A. in Economics from Clemson University. He is a CFA charterholder and a member of the CFA Society of North Carolina.
