Mr. Tishman is a Managing Director and Global Head of Houlihan Lokey’s M&A Group, with more than 40 years of investment banking experience. He is also a member of the firm’s Management Committee, Co-Head of the M&A Commitment Committee, and a former member of the Corporate Finance Board of Directors. In 2014, Mr. Tishman was selected as one of the Top 50 Global M&A Investment Bankers by Global M&A Network. He is based in the firm’s New York office.
Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Tishman was a Managing Director and Global Partner at Rothschild Inc., where he was Co-Head of U.S. M&A and a member of the Rothschild North America Management Committee. In addition, he was responsible for the financial sponsors coverage effort and Retail, Apparel, and Luxury Brands Group in North America.
Prior to joining Rothschild, Mr. Tishman was a Managing Director and head of the Robertson Stephens New York office as well as a member of the Management Committee. Prior to joining Robertson Stephens, Mr. Tishman spent approximately 15 years at Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc., most recently as a Senior Managing Director and Head of the Retail, Apparel, and Consumer group.
Mr. Tishman holds a B.A. from Princeton University and an MBA from the NYU Stern School of Business. He is currently a director of Acushnet Holdings Corp. (NYSE:GOLF) and formerly served on the boards of Cedar Fair LP (NYSE:FUN), Nautica Enterprises, Inc. (NASDAQ:NAUT), Claire’s Stores, Inc. (NYSE:CLE), Odimo, Inc. (NASDAQ:ODMO), and Goodhaven Fund (MUTF:GOODX).
