Mr. Seedat is a Senior Vice President in Houlihan Lokey’s Transaction Advisory Services practice. He focuses on providing financial due diligence and other advisory services to both private equity and corporate clients. Mr. Seedat is based in the firm’s Chicago office.
Mr. Seedat has advised clients on acquisitions, divestures, and carve-out transactions with various enterprise values. His transaction experience spans multiple sectors, including industrials, consumer and retail, business services, and healthcare. He covers a wide range of M&A issues, including quality of earnings, net working capital, indebtedness, and purchase agreement support.
Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Seedat was a Manager in Ernst & Young’s Transaction Advisory Services practice in Chicago, where he provided buyside and sellside accounting and financial due diligence to strategic buyers and private equity firms. Before that, Mr. Seedat was a Senior Audit Associate at KPMG, where he provided professional audit services to multinational companies in accordance with PCAOB requirements, U.S. GAAP, and IFRS.
Mr. Seedat holds a B.S. in Accounting from Northern Illinois University. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Illinois.
