Ms. Wong is a Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Real Estate, Lodging & Leisure Group, which specializes in M&A advisory, capital raising, and other strategic advisory assignments for public and private real estate and lodging companies, lenders, and investors. She is based in the firm’s New York office.
Ms. Wong’s recent notable M&A and restructuring experience involves companies such as Indigo Golf, Troon, Pennsylvania REIT, Steadfast Apartment REIT, Resource Real Estate REIT, JCPenney, Tailored Brands, and Sears.
Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Ms. Wong was Vice President of Hotel Real Estate Investing within Goldman Sachs’ Realty Management Division. While there, she completed more than $2 billion in hotel sales, $100 million in hotel acquisitions, and more than $4 billion in financings and capital restructurings in transactions involving companies such as Hospitality Investors Trust, Hospitality Properties Trust, Starwood Capital, Aimbridge Hospitality, and Deutsche Bank, among others. Previously, Ms. Wong was Director of Global Real Estate at a VC-backed, alternative lodging startup called Sonder, where she managed investments across North America and Europe.
Ms. Wong earned a B.S. in Hotel Administration with a minor in Real Estate from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration.
