Mr. Dippel is a Managing Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Financial Sponsors Group. He is responsible for managing relationships with private equity firms, hedge funds, and family offices ranging in size from $100 million to over $100 billion. Mr. Dippel’s specific areas of focus include buyouts, special situations, and distressed credit. He is also a member of the Financial and Valuation Advisory ESG Task Force. Mr. Dippel is based in the firm’s New York office.
Mr. Dippel has more than three decades of experience in investment banking, primarily in M&A and alternative investments. Throughout his career, he has advised publicly traded company boards, financial sponsors, and private business owners in North America and Europe, including cross-border transactions in the United Kingdom, Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Italy, and Monaco.
Mr. Dippel’s clients have included investment firms such as GSO Capital Partners, Littlejohn & Co., TowerBrook Capital Partners, Atlas Holdings, American Industrial Partners, Dunes Point Capital, and The Jordan Company.
Before joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Dippel was a Managing Director and COO of The Nassau Group, a corporate strategy and M&A advisory firm with specific industry expertise in industrial and environmental technologies.
Mr. Dippel graduated from Princeton University with an A.B. in Politics.
