Mr. Goldrick is a Managing Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Transaction Advisory Services practice and Head of M&A Tax Services. He primarily focuses on buyside and sellside tax consulting services for transactions involving private equity and strategic buyers. Mr. Goldrick has more than a decade of experience advising on transactions in North America, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific region, and his transactional experience spans numerous sectors, including industrials, healthcare, technology, financial services, and retail. He is based in the firm’s Chicago office.
Mr. Goldrick advises clients on transactional tax issues involving corporate and flow-through restructuring and recapitalization, state and international taxation, tax attribute utilization, and accounting for income taxes. In connection with tax due diligence services, a significant portion of his work focuses on tax structuring and modeling and the quantification of after-tax cash flows generated by various acquisition and disposition structures, both domestic and international.
Mr. Goldrick has presented at Tax Executive Institute (TEI) seminars in Milwaukee and Chicago, which focused on structuring taxable acquisitions of partnerships and S corporations and changes to deal negotiation points with respect to international tax issues following 2017’s Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.
Before joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Goldrick was a Managing Director in the M&A tax group at KPMG.
Mr. Goldrick holds a B.B.A. in Accountancy from the University of Notre Dame. He is a licensed CPA in the state of Illinois and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
