Mr. Lillo is a Managing Director in Houlihan Lokey's Corporate Finance business. He has advised numerous European companies across a wide range of industry verticals on M&A transactions, complex equity and debt capital raises, and financial restructurings. He is based in the firm's Milan office.
Previously, Mr. Lillo was a Director at Leonardo & Co., which entered into a joint venture with Houlihan Lokey in Italy and now operates under the Houlihan Lokey brand. Prior to joining Leonardo & Co., he worked at Capitalia S.p.A. in the M&A department (now merged into Unicredit Group). He is also currently an Assistant Professor at LUISS Guido Carli University, teaching a course on business crisis management and debt restructuring.
Mr. Lillo’s prior transaction experience includes advising World Duty Free on the acquisition of three retail concessions from HMSHost Corp. (Autogrill Group); Visconti on the composition proposal to address a more than €1 billion bankruptcy; Risanamento on the sale of its French real estate portfolio to Chelsfield and The Olayan Group for €1.3 billion; Maire Tecnimont on its €1.5 billion debt and capital raise; Risanamento on its €3.5 billion debt restructuring; Prysmian on the acquisition of Draka for €800 million; Permira on the acquisition of Valentino Fashion Group for €4.5 billion; and RCS MediaGroup on the acquisition of Recoletos for €1.1 billion.
Mr. Lillo holds a degree in Economics from LUISS Guido Carli University in Rome.
