Mr. Kubota is an Executive Director of Houlihan Lokey’s Business Services Group. He has nearly 20 years of experience advising on mergers and acquisitions and capital-raising transactions in the technology, internet, and computer-related industries in Japan and the United States. In addition to his advisory work, Mr. Kubota has been a guest speaker at numerous media and technology conferences. He is based in the firm’s Tokyo office.
Previously, Mr. Kubota was the founder and Representative Director of GCA Technovation, which was acquired by Houlihan Lokey in 2021. Prior to that, he worked in business development and corporate strategy at Sony and in the M&A Group at UBS.
Mr. Kubota holds a B.A. in Economics from Keio University.
