Mr. Kubota is a Managing Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Business Services Group in Tokyo. He has more than 20 years of experience advising on mergers and acquisitions and capital-raising transactions in the IT services, software/SaaS, technology, internet, and computer-related industries. He is based in the firm’s Tokyo office.
Previously, Mr. Kubota joined GCA in 2005, where he was the Founder and Representative Director of GCA Technovation, which was acquired by Houlihan Lokey in 2021. Before that, he worked in business development and corporate strategy at Sony and the M&A Group at UBS.
Mr. Kubota holds a B.A. in Economics from Keio University.
