Mr. Goel is a Vice President in Houlihan Lokey’s Corporate Valuation Advisory Services (CVAS) practice. He is part of CVAS client services in India and the broader Asia region, works closely with the U.S.-based CVAS team to support client delivery needs, and assists CVAS clients with local Asia valuation needs. Mr. Goel has more than five years of experience in business valuations, M&A support, and financial due diligence. He has executed a range of financial advisory engagements for clients in many sectors, including information technology, retail, manufacturing, engineering, infrastructure, real estate, and consumer goods. Mr. Goel is based in the firm’s Mumbai office.
Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Goel was an Associate Vice President at D and P Advisory, where he managed pan-India teams and client deliverables. Before that, he was a Senior Consultant at Duff & Phelps, where he was responsible for valuation advisory services operations in the New Delhi region. Mr. Goel has undertaken several valuations for corporate restructuring and assisted clients in strategic transactions related to investments (internal decision-making purposes), divestitures, mergers, and demergers; intangible assets valuation related to brands, IP, etc.; regulatory compliance such as FEMA and income tax purposes; and financial reporting under Ind-AS, U.S. GAAP, and IFRS. He has also worked on various social impact fundraises and audit exercises.
Mr. Goel holds a B.M.S. from Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies at the University of Delhi. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Society of India.
