Mr. Hector is Co-Head of Houlihan Lokey’s Power & Utilities Group, with two decades of investment banking experience at Houlihan Lokey. His transaction experience includes mergers and acquisitions, strategic alternatives advisory, special situations advisory, and capital raising, among other mandates. Mr. Hector is based in the firm’s Minneapolis office.
Since joining the firm in 2004, Mr. Hector has executed numerous transactions for a variety of leading thermal and renewable power generators. Selected advisory assignments include Project Liberty (1.9 GW gas portfolio in PJM); Mesquite Generation (1.1 GW natural gas-fired portfolio in ERCOT); Coso Geothermal (142 MW geothermal plant in CA-ISO); Optim Energy (875 MW natural gas-fired portfolio in ERCOT); Hamilton Holdings (1.7 GW CCGT portfolio in PJM); Project Rocky (U.S.-based wind farm development); Cube District Holdings (42 MW waste-to-energy portfolio); INGENCO (120 MW waste-to-energy portfolio); and Project Buffalo (Midwest coal-fired generator).
Mr. Hector holds a B.S. in Business, with a concentration in Finance and a minor in Economic Theory, from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.
