Xander Hector
Managing Director Co-Head of Power, Utilities, and Renewables GroupMr. Hector is Co-Head of Houlihan Lokey’s Power, Utilities, and Renewables Group, with more than two decades of investment banking experience at Houlihan Lokey. His transaction experience includes mergers and acquisitions, strategic alternatives advisory, special situations advisory, and capital raising, among other mandates. Mr. Hector is based in the firm’s Minneapolis office.
Since joining the firm in 2004, Mr. Hector has led the execution of either the sale or purchase of over 10 GW of thermal and renewable generation assets. This includes assets across a wide range of ISOs, and both contracted and uncontracted assets. Selected completed sellside transactions include the sale of Potomac Energy Center, Lanyard Power, Hamilton Holdings, Mesquite Generation, among others.
Mr. Hector holds a B.S. in Business, with a concentration in Finance and a minor in Economic Theory, from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.
