Mr. Hirano is a Senior Vice President in Houlihan Lokey’s Industrials Group. He is based in the firm’s Tokyo office.
Previously, Mr. Hirano worked with the Automotive & Technology team at GCA Corporation, which was acquired by Houlihan Lokey in 2021. Prior to joining GCA, he was with Mizuho Bank’s Industry Research department as an automotive analyst in Singapore and Tokyo, engaged in industry research and growth strategy proposals for Japanese and non-Japanese clients. Before this, Mr. Hirano was with Mizuho Securities’ Investment Banking Division as a TMT coverage banker focused on the consumer and industrial electronics, electronic components, and medtech sectors, supporting clients’ growth strategies through M&A and financing.
Mr. Hirano holds a B.A. in Law from Osaka City University.
