Mr. Yamasaki is a Managing Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Corporate Finance business. For more than a decade, he has advised many Japanese industrial and technology companies on buyside, sellside, cross-border, domestic, private/carve-out, and public transactions. Mr. Yamasaki is based in the firm’s Tokyo office.
Previously, Mr. Yamasaki was a Managing Director in the Cross-Border & Special Solutions team at GCA Corporation, which was acquired by Houlihan Lokey in 2021. Before joining GCA in 2017, he spent more than seven years in the M&A advisory group at UBS Investment Bank.
Mr. Yamasaki holds a B.A. in Commerce from Waseda University and an MBA from New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business.
