Zach Hamilton

Director

Mr. Hamilton is a Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Transaction Advisory Services team and leads the firm’s Healthcare Financial Due Diligence practice. With more than 15 years of transaction-related experience, he specializes in buyside and sellside financial accounting due diligence projects for both private equity firms and strategic buyers and advises clients on the assessment of earnings quality, leveraged recapitalizations, net working capital, and GAAP accounting. Mr. Hamilton also has experience leading complex acquisitions involving carve-outs of public and private companies. In addition, he has advised clients on merger integration and divestiture planning and execution, including pre-deal due diligence, TSA development, and synergy identification. He is based in the firm’s Atlanta office.

Mr. Hamilton focuses on serving clients across the healthcare and life sciences industries, including managed care, concierge medicine, value-based care, diagnostic imaging, durable medical equipment, physician practices, acute and subacute care hospitals, home health, hospice, oncology, long-term care, nurse staffing, skilled nursing facilities, HCIT, and specialty and institutional pharmacies, among other healthcare subsectors.

Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Hamilton served in PwC’s M&A Advisory practice as well as the Transaction Advisory practices of Alvarez & Marsal and Ernst & Young.  

Mr. Hamilton earned a B.B.A. in Accounting and a Master of Accountancy (MAcc) from The University of Georgia. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Georgia and New York and an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Association for Corporate Growth.
